Dr. Hayden Carlton currently works as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine in the Department of Radiation Oncology and Molecular Radiation Sciences. His work in Dr. Robert Ivkov's lab focuses on the usage of magnetic nanoparticles for cancer treatment, specifically with thermal therapies like magnetic nanoparticle hyperthermia. Dr. Carlton received his PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Arkansas in 2021, where his research focused primarily on the study of heat transfer in micro and nanoscale systems.
